Iranian Businessmen Are Considering the Ways to Increase Export to Russia

As is reported by the Minister of Trade, Iranian businessmen are considering the ways of increasing export to Russia.

According to Fars News, Mr. Motjaba Hosrotadj and Iranian businessmen have also considered the ways of concluding a reduced rate agreement with Eurasian Economic Union represented by Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, and Armenia; of achieving rate reduction; and of preparing grounds for free trade with the said countries.  

At the end of July Mr. Mehdi Sanaei, Ambassador of Iran to Russia, and Mr. Igor Morgulov, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs, stressed the need for trade extension between Tehran and Moscow. At their meeting in Moscow Mr. Sanaei and Mr. Morgulov also examined the ways to strengthen and enhance cooperation between Iran and Russia.

The parties discussed a number of other issues such as implementation of agreements achieved between Tehran and Moscow during the visit of President Hassan Rouhani to Russia at the end of March.

Mr. Morgulov signified satisfaction with the development of total relationship between Iran and Russia and called for signing the agreements and determining new economic projects to extend bilateral contacts. 

Mr. Sanaei highlighted the reciprocal visits of high-ranking delegations of the two countries during the last months and said that the executive heads of the two nations were full of determination to develop relations between the countries in all spheres.   

Mr. Sanaei also mentioned the statistical growth of mutual economy and trade relations between Iran and Russia and expressed his hope for substantial increase in trade between the two countries by the end of the year.
